Jones Gap

Nature.  Oh my word, it just does something to the soul!

Last Saturday, some friends from work and I went hiking at Jones Gap.  It was absolutely stunning and a great time--even though it began thunderstorming as soon as we made it to the waterfall!  We were soaked, but the rain was actually refreshingly beautiful.

Charleston Recap

Last weekend, I had the chance to visit Charleston with two of my closest friends. We left GVL in the morning and drove to Folly Beach. (It was much hotter there and parking was super hard to find!)

We were absolutely famished at that point and stopped by Rita's Seaside Grille for lunch; their crabcake sandwich was exactly what I needed! I also overdressed for the beach (not short-sleeve sweater weather fyi), and luckily, they sell tanks, too.

We spent some time soaking up the sun and splashing in the ocean at Folly Beach before we headed to Charleston. Of course, we had to see Rainbow Row and the Charleston City Market. The buildings, the architecture, and the palm trees are absolutely gorgeous. Such a classy, charming city!  I definitely will be back sometime soon! For dinner (aka desserts 😂), we stopped by Kaminsky's Dessert Café. I ordered a custom milkshake, chocolate and hazelnut with some espresso.  (You can never go wrong with chocolate and hazelnut, am I right?!)

And in our strolling, we stumbled upon the loveliest shop, Magnifique. Oh my word, those clothes!  (A little expensive, but they have the perfect clothes for a girl whose style is stunning but still laid back.) On the drive back, we drove through the loveliest sunset. No better way to end a day than with a bright sky and the best friends!

Hello!
